The Pilbarra Society.

This organisation, based at Hesperian, has been set up to concentrate on Pilbara history, its places, people, and potential. The iron ore industry has dominated the area for many decades but the history of the area since the 1860s is little known.

The characters and incidents are as interesting as that of the better known Kimberley and goldfields. Station, mine and town histories are needed and the society hopes to bring together those who can contribute to the subject.

Free Books

As of the posting of this note we are going to give all retail customers a gift of a book for every book purchased. We are overstocked and need the space.

Initially we will use up our stock of slightly marked books and then go on to our warehouse stock.

We will choose a book of similar value to that you have ordered.

For shop customers the choice will be set out on the special shelves for you to choose from.

Eventually we will extend the offer to performing retailers.

The downside catch for postal orders is that inclusion of extra books will possibly increase AP post charges.

Please advise on ordering if you do not want to accept this offer.
